Voodoo, a religion and magical practice originating in the Caribbean Islands, has made its way to Louisiana. It’s seven years after the Salem Witch Trials, and Bethany is sent to New Orleans to find out who is trying to dethrone the Voodoo Queen. Will this be more than she bargained for when a mysterious figure makes themselves known?  It’s 1850, and the reigning monarch in the voodoo community is none other than Marie Catherine Laveau, but for how long?
